As an organization that assists in providing specialized care for uninsured and under-insured professional musicians who work in the U.S. and beyond, we have the utmost concern for the communities that create, enjoy, promote, and support music. In keeping with the recommendations of local, national, and international health and safety authorities on the care and containment of the coronavirus, we have postponed our 5.10.20 benefit concert and are planning it now on 7.18.20 when we hope that the coronavirus will be behind us. We hope then that our event will be a unifying, eclectic and uplifting showcase of immense musical talent and our music-loving supporters. Please stay tuned for details and come together with us at the Physicians for Musicians Benefit Concert 2020. In the meantime, please help keep the music playing in your hometown and in your hearts by safely patronizing local venues and digital marketplaces in support of talented musicians around the world.
If you are a current ticket holder, sponsor, or underwriter, we remain grateful for your generosity and will apply your donations to the rescheduled concert. If you have not yet bought your tickets, we hope that we can rely on your support in the coming months as we continue to serve the needs of musicians with shoulder, elbow, and hand problems that impact their livelihoods and our listening joy.
