Celebrating our nationwide Physicians for Musicians network MTF presented its first benefit concert in Nashville at Brooklyn Bowl on March 12, 2023: Elvis Costello & Billy F Gibbons & All-Star Friends. Guest hosts actor Tim Daly and dj Kevin Connor welcomed a full house, including very special guest Peter Frampton, for an epic concert by Costello and Gibbons (ZZ Top) along with dobro master Jerry Douglas (Alison Krauss & Union Station), jazz sax great Bill Evans (Soulgrass, Miles Davis), acclaimed drummer Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, John Mayer), renowned bassist Darryl Jones (The Rolling Stones, Sting), guitarist Mike Seal (The Jerry Douglas Band), sensational guitarist Charlie Sexton (Arc Angels, Bob Dylan), Gale Mayes, Kelly McGrath (Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones), and The Imposters. Benefactors, fans, and sponsors from near and far, including David Yurman, Gibson Foundation, Lane Motor Museum, and Whiskey Thief Distillery, made it an amazing night of artistry and giving.
