The gala concert on June 13 in Dublin, Ireland to benefit MTF was an amazing night of music by Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal who were joined by beloved Irish-American folk artist Aoife O’Donovan and by treasured Irish artist Paul Brady who made a special guest appearance.  The four award-winning artists came together for a finale of Forty Shades of Green, a song written in and about Ireland by Johnny Cash, and a spontaneous encore of Bob Dylan’s Farewell, Angelina.  The evening began with a welcome set by four members of Dublin’s own The New Café Orchestra.  The National Concert Hall was packed with family, fans, and friends of the artists from near and far, including many from MTF’s family of supporters from the United States as well as our newest ones from within Ireland, most of all Ita & Bill Dempsey who hosted our private after party at historic Davy Byrnes (more on that coming soon).  MTF is forever grateful to Ms. Cash and Mr. Leventhal for conceiving and directing this unforgettable international event.  Please visit our gallery for just a few of the amazing moments from the gala concert!
